Co-op Final Smashes

This is an interesting idea. If you are playing with a certain team in team battle, and either one of the characters break the Smash Ball, you can get near your partner and press the neutral special button at the same time, then both of you perform a co-op Final Smash. Examples:

Mario and Luigi: Mario creates a big red fireball. Then Luigi creates a big green fireball. Both jump to the top of the screen and mix their fireballs, creating a giant half-red/half-green fireball, and throw the giant fireball to the ground.

Charizard and Snorlax: Charizard covers Snorlax in flames. Snorlax jumps to the top of the screen and comes down giant, crashing in the ground and causing a explosion.

hahahahahaha good times. let me explain: my brother and i have had these discussions before, usually starting with one of us saying something like "captain falcon and game & watch, go" just to see what ridiculous combos we could come up with. some of the insane pairings actually worked quite nicely

Interesting idea, albeit an absolute nightmare to programme no doubt.

Here's one off the top of my head:

Yoshi/Charizard/Bowser + Roy: Dragon Lord
The reptile* of choice shoots several balls of fire at Roy who absorbs the blazes into his sword of seals, making it glow an ever brighter red. When the sword is 'full' Roy unleashes a huge Blazer attack, enveloping the stage in a huge explosion.

*Yoshi would become Super Dragon for this attack still.

CF + Bowser.
CF hits them with the blue falcon, sending them towards giga bowser who then uses their side B to catch and body slam them anywhere on the screen they choose.

It's a neat idea hypothetical, but it's way too situational to be worth much developing time.
