Clone question

If you had the choice would you rather have the clones just be costumes of the original character while being a happy median of their attributes, had more moveset changes so they felt like more like original characters, or completely removed in favor of other features(more costumes,other characters,etc)

The only clone I would want removed is Dark Pit. I like Doc how he is, but I would rather have Lucina "Luigified" and turned more into her own character. I also don't particularly like having alt characters. I'd rather they were separate more often than not.

Really, I'd vote for all three of the current clones to just be "Luigified" rather than be turned into alts or removed entirely. First of all, Lucina and Doctor Mario being turned into alts for Marth and Mario would make no sense - the former because Lucina really just isn't Marth and the latter because Doc was already a separate character before, and downgrading him to an alt would make some people unhappy.
Second, atleast Dark Pit kind of gives the Kid Icarus series more playable characters, and with the changes he offers, he can still be a decent alternative to Pit (even though, admittely, he is the "cloneliest" of the clones gameplay wise.)
