Smash Rookie
I just realized, I've been signed up for a while and I haven't even made a post yet! So, in a fit of sleep deprivation, I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself.
I play Project M for the most part after having discovered it at someone's birthday party involving a (super casual/fun) set of smash tournaments that involved cycling through each of the games. Getting involved is a pretty typical story; just practicing all the time with my cousin, getting really tense matches with him and eventually deciding we wanted to get involved with the whole community. So we decided an actual sponsored REAL tournament (SPAU4) was the best place to start and I got wiped out by one of michigan's best, Dirtboy, and I didn't even know it was him until weeks later. The rude awakening I think a lot of us had to push through in order to know our places in needing a lot more time and experience with the game.
I play under Lv1 and Sylveon (just because the latter is less awkward to say). I use twitter a ton (@FluffyCoat) and mess around with a few Blizzard games on the side if that's your sort of thing as well.
I'm in Westland, MI and looking for more weeklys/biweeklys to attend as well so if you've got one I'd love to see you there!
