The Carolina Collegiate E-Sports Committee (CCEC) and Operation Supply Drop (OSD) are joining forces at North Carolina State University’s Talley Student Union for the Clash of the Carolinas. Clash of the Carolinas will be a two day event occurring on the 16th and 17th of January, 2016. The event will be headlined by four collegiate tournaments in League of Legends, Hearthstone, Counterstrike: Global Offensive and Super Smash Brothers Melee, with smaller public tournaments surrounding the event. This event will be free however donations to Operation Supply Drop will be encouraged by attendees. This event will be the largest East Coast collegiate gaming competition to date, with the goal of creating an annual event to support a growing collegiate e-sports community as well as to benefit American servicemen and women.
