good i guess. 1st one is the one i enjoyed more. My advice: Try to SHFFL aerials more, also ur edge guard game is not to good (even if i find hard to edge guard against shiek players with marth).

i cant think on anything else right now xD

You played pretty well. I felt you stayed in your shield too long a lot of times. If you see that the Shiek is waiting for you to land with an Aerial and is going to grab you try doing this. I assume you use the C-stick for late aerials. When you land the aerial and L-cancel hold the button you L-cancel with down and hold the C-stick either down (spotdodge) or left/right (roll). Using this method will ensure that as soon as you L-cancel you will roll or spotdodge. I noticed that alot when you L-canceled as you landed you shielded and planck would run up and grab you, this should help you regardless of what character you use as another way out.

As for edgeguarding Shiek you seemed to have trouble. Ledgehopping is vital here, just keep jumping and grabbing the edge to keep your invincibility till they get close, forcing them onto the stage. Then ledgehop and either reverse dolphin slash (at high percentages) or ledgehop waveland to f-smash. As long as your quick they can not do anything about it. I liked your ledgehop upair to fsmash combo i saw in the first video though.

I also think you should try upthrow to fulljump, wait for the jump out, the double jump and catch them with a upair or just land and try to catch them with an uptilt or upair before they land, allowing you to combo). After a while this will encourage them to not be jumping out, allowing you to upthrow uptilt much easier.

Try wavedashing up from the ledge instead of rolling or getting up in place. You didn't diversify that too much IMHO :)

ps. i felt like i was watching myself play.

Hew, I thought I actually critiqued CK's marth in this thread lol. I played CK today in a tournament and got knocked out by him. This guy is good... not that he must be good to beat me, but like... he got 5th in the tourney. That's pretty impressive.

ok, enough *** kissing, I'm going to beat u CK... one day, at least one time, and as soon as possible ;)

The main thing that no one has critiqued you on that I've noticed is that you need to DI away from Sheik when she D-throws you, seriously. It makes those chaingrabbing combos they did on you impossible or at least highly improbable. Other people mentioned this too, but you really do need to work on shielding less and edgeguarding more effectively.

Overall though, I would say you play a good marth, and you did have some sweet combos. Just remember to DI away from that scary down throw.

My biggest advice to you for the first video is that as soon as Sheik grabs you, it's usualy an excellent plan to DI behind Sheik. Although DIing down can dodge the FAir sometimes and is good to incorporate as the occasional mind game, its safer to just accept a BAir to the face. Don't risk eating Sheik's FAir. It's not worth it.
