chrome stays always on top

basically my chrome browser (v17.0) keeps staying on top of other windows, both in fullscreen and not-fullscreen mode. basically the only way to get around it is to minimize it which is a really annoying process. I started 1 or 2 days ago and an internet search gave nothing.

anyone suggestions?

edit: fixed, but no clue how lol
