One of my major goals in life is to establish a large charity organization and I've already taken the prerogative of creating a site for the effort but the site hasn't been updated or, truly, started yet. By the Summer's end it'll be ready for business but I spent so much time thinking and working towards the upgrades that I forgot the most basic thing.

The charity itself. I've been at odds about which charity I should do first. I've even decided I'd be willing to do multiple charities at once, but at most only three, so now comes the question, which should it be? There are charities out there for homeless, terminally ill, victims of assault, animals, environment, etc. etc.

Currently, I was thinking a charity for terminally ill children or babies would be a good start but I'm not sure. I'd like the Smash Community's input on this. Which charity should I do first?

Well, it's a good cause. In my town charity is small but it goes towards those who have little money to buy food. We hand out boxes with food that last for sometime so that could be a good start.

Just animals in general or endangered species?

@highfive: One of the things I had planned was a year-round canned food drive where all of the food would be tallied and distributed throughout the year with the end of the year starting the cycle over again.

Hmm, I'd probably go for animals in general. Things like abuse, neglect, etc. Or just do both.
