Smashcon Points System:
1st Place- 10pts.
2nd Place- 8pts.
3rd Place- 6pts.

This will be the first tournament Smashcon will be sponsoring this year. We hope that we can get as many people to come to this tournament as possible and you enjoy yourself as much as possible. Help spread the word and get people to attend this tournament. This will be the first step of many towards Winter Smashcon, so let's start off the new gaming year with a bang!

Not only will the top three contenders earn cash prizes but will also be rewarded points. For those who aren't familiar with how the points system works, at every tournament Smashcon sponsors, the top three contenders are rewarded the points as listed above. At the end of six months the three people with the most points will get into Smashcon for free including the tournament you scored the most points in if you are one of the top three scorers. So if you are one of the top three people who scored most for Brawl, you get into Smashcon for free and you get free admission for the Brawl tournament. The same applies for Melee and Smash 64.

Recording:
Recording will be provided by a Smashcon staff member. We are using the Alabama Smash League (ASL) Recording Process.

How it works: On the SD card provided by a staff member, will be everything needed to have infinite recording time (Homebrew, etc). You go to the main menu of Brawl, insert the SD card and go to stage builder.

*Note:* Be sure you do not have any custom stages on your wii.

At the end of each match you will be forced to save the match either to the wii or SD card. Any friendlies, save to the wii, all official tournament matches, save to the SD card.

Basic Info:
-NO outside food or drinks or illegal substances (guys this is a restaurant they got food and stuff you can buy only a few steps away)
-The address has been posted and I put in a link to google maps. The restaurant is pinpointed on the map for you. If you aren't familiar with the area, play around with the map, they got Google Earth views on it too so you can see the surrounding area. Also click on the Chinese Inn if you don't know what the place looks like.
-NO COMPLAINING/NO HASSLES: Do not come up to me and complain about the rules online/offline, I will not change them unless I see fit to. Also, do not come up to me asking me to place you in the bracket after we've already made it! Do not tell me you've paid to enter a tournament if you didn't do it, if someone is covering for you then it's fine but make sure they give me the money BEFORE registration has ended. NO EXCEPTIONS!
-NO Payment in coins. If you come up to me with a bag of coins thinking it's funny, you're out of luck, because neither I or RjPunch will bother counting it or entering you in the tourney. It's time consuming and unnecessary and you could just bring dollar bills. I also ask that you please try to bring $5 bills and not pay in just $20s (it makes pot splitting a pain), make change BEFORE you get to the venue, David should not have to constantly go back and forth making change for everyone.

You are responsible for knowing these rules, if you mess up and break them, TOO BAD. You will be kicked out! No exceptions!

Set-ups:
Smashcon always tries to supply sponsored tournaments with set-ups. As of right now, Smashcon will probably be able to supply a couple of set-ups. Despite this, we still encourage everyone who plans on attending and is able to, to bring a set-up of their own. Do NOT expect Smashcon to supply everything, we can't stress this enough! Bring set-ups!

I'll be bringing a set-up, just so you guys know. Though keep in mind, RJ and Nitez can't easily run a tournament on one set-up. So bring set-ups.
