Admit it, We can all agree that our gaming adventures started when we were little and stupid..
So what gaming memories do you have from your childhood? My gaming career started when I was about 6 and I got a GBA for christmas. My parents were concerned I might not understand how to work it...Pfft...did I prove them wrong.....I figured it out in a matter of minutes...Most of the games I had were games like lego, Hamtaro, etc. One game that I was very fond of was Rayman Advance( Basically a port of Rayman 1) It captured my imagination like no other game I had at the time...I enjoyed everything it had to offer... It had some creative worlds. My favorite world has to be Picture City. I mean, how often does a game have erasers for platforms? I recall losing heaps of lives on that game since if you've played the original Rayman game, you would know that it has a bit of a steep difficulty. My grandpa got me started on LoZ.(the oracle games) That was a good decision. I also loved those games. It always had a surprise for me at every corner. Soon afterwards, I got a gamecube for Christmas 2003. One of the games I got was LoZ: collector's editon. Back then, I only liked Oot and MM. Oot quickly became my favorite game once I started playing it. I remember the nervousness I felt the first time I got to Ganondorf...I thankfully managed to slay the final boss on my first try. It took a while for MM to grow on me...I remember the first time I played it, I didn't have a clue how to get Link's ocarina back and that led to me witnessing Armageddon(in the form of a creepy moon pulverizing termina that is) For my 8th birthday, I got a copy of WW. My goodness, I must have played that game to death. I was fond of the graphics, (then again, I was a kid) I'd post more, but I can't remember anymore ATM....

My uncle had an NES (and later, a SNES) that I played all the time at his house. My parents believed there were better things to do as a child than video games, however, so we never had a console until I was 12 years old (PS2). :(

But one year when I was 6, my uncle bought me a Game Boy for christmas without telling my parents. It was the best gift ever. The gift of game.

They let me keep it, but I was only allowed to play for one hour a week, on Monday. But goddammit that hour was the highlight of my week.
