Ive played my share of games, trying to get competitive. So today ive been playing this Bowser for id say about 6 matches and counting. Of those 6 matches, 5 of them he has won by suiciding (side B, then launching off stage).

Unfortunately, it shows up as his win. I wish it would go to something like a sudden death. Idk i just feel like its a cheap way to lose :(

Thoughts? Comments? Doubts?

Edit: It doesn't help that i am far better than the opponent. It will be a 1 stock vs 1 stock match, me at <10% and him at 100%+, then i lose to the side B....gah!

If you've been playing as Mac, try F-tilting when he goes for the Klaw if you think He might get it. That, or spot dodge and punish. To be completely serious though, don't approach him if you see him at the ledge waiting to go for the Koopa Klaw.

Dont even bother playing people like that. Every time i come across someone that does the suicide cheese i leave afterwords. They dont want to play the game legitimately, then i dont want to play them.
I shouldnt have to 2stock you in order to win because you have a cheesy mechanic to auto-win once im down a stock.

If you're at less than 10% and Bowser is at over 100%, then you have more control over the Flying Slam's movement than Bowser does. If you're quick on reaction, you can force him back onstage to stop him from Bowserciding you.

What do you mean by "force him back on stage". Do you mean staying in the middle of the stage? Launching him off?

he means by holding the circle pad towards the stage. You can influence the direction it goes, the more damage bowser has the more control you have not him.
Its minor, but it works. Same as getting slammed off the stage holding the opposite direction slows you down a little.

I just played as Rosalina against a Pit who did very little other than roll away and shoot arrows, and whenever I would hit him off the stage he would just hug the edge for as long as he could. He would fight until he realized he wouldn't be able to win, and he'd just stall it out. So frustrating. At the end I was getting so annoyed I started playing on tilt and he two-stocked me and left.

Pretty much this. If Bowser has higher damage than you do, you can influence the Flying Slam's movement path more strongly than Bowser can. If you can react in time, you can prevent him from using the move to suicide KO.

I encountered a similar Bowser the other day. I was able to keep out of his range for the most part (thank you Luma) but he still went for it when he was a stock down. I let him get the kill that time because he died basically the next frame.

I'm not really sure what he expected to happen.

That's a fair win... he initiated the move. He got in the lead or brought the stocks even such that it would win. You were standing in a position or failed to move out of a position in which he could perform those moves. It's fair and that's how they do it in tournaments.

Tried Lil Mac, and i have beaten him every single time lol probably a good counterpick. I actually learned a lot of the stuff i did from fighting you a million times. Can't the the down tilt to KO punch yet, but other than that the Ftilt worked wonders

Trying to meteor Dedede into a pit when suddenly he does his Up Special, misses the ledge which would normally be a good thing, comes crashing back down and takes you with him. And technically, you die first.

I would just try to space him out with projectile or long range aerials. I'd also try to stay on center stage as much as possible since it's less likely get bowsercided. But your right it's really annoying OP.

ive done that accidentally before lol. I didnt go up high enough to get the ledge but my opponent was down tehre trying to smack me, ended up taking him with me.
i find this one to be ungodly hard to do intentionally though, his UpB is pretty hard to aim and is deathly obvious. Bowser's grab and even Kirby to an extent isnt as obvious and much more reliable.
