Ever hear of w00t? They have a different product everyday at a cheap price, and everything also has a flat rate of $5 for shipping. Today they have a Dazzle DVD Recorded for $20.
I've seen mixed reviews for Dazzle products. I've seen some people have no problem with them, and the one I had worked for a while then kinda broke after a year or two unfortunately. I've never used this model per say, but I'm weary of it saying it's capture format is just MPEG2, but you might be able to get around that using a different program than the included one (always the best idea anyway).
