From what he said it sounded more like they didn't have enough priority for him to bother getting them to work.

As for the poll I vote Mewtwo. Unlike the other votes, other than snake, he was the only one with a purely unique moveset.
And i didn't like Snake.

Maybe even change all his specials. Psystrike for Neutral Special or something.

I don't even like Mewtwo. It's just sort of stupid he's not in this game.

None of the Above. I was really hoping to see Isaac in this iteration since Golden Sun is such a good series.

I don't know if it's possible anymore, but I'm still hoping he'll show up at least as an AT in the Wii U version...

Mother 3 is one of my favorite games and it's made me grow really attached to Lucas. I didn't play Mother 3 until after Brawl came out, but I it was great to see the character live on in a game with top nintendo characters.

He doesn't need his own slot IMO...I'd totally accept Lucas as an alt costume to Ness like the Bowser Jr./Koopalings.

I'm a bit greedy, so if I thought about it. I would want everyone to be together in smash bros.
<-Yes all ten of these people. I know it will never happen and they can never all be together again. But in an ideal world for me it could. I realize some are clones, but that can be easily fixed. I also realize Ice Climbers was cut due to limitations and what not, but there's always a possibly in years and years to come smash 5 will happen. If it ever does, I'm hoping everyone can come back.
