Characters you don't personally like, but want in anyway

Are there any characters you don't have any attachment to at all, or even hate the character/game, but you still want in Smash for one reason or another? Be it to make their fans happy, or because you feel like they deserve to be in despite not liking them, what characters would you put in Smash even though you don't like them?

For me, Banjo Kazooie is the biggest one. I don't care about the character at all, and from playing the game, I kinda hated it. One of the least fun N64 games I've played for me personally. I still want him in Smash though, because he definitely deserves a spot, and would make tons of people happy.

Isaac, Elma, Rex, and a few other first party characters I have zero attachment to, but I would like to see in Smash just because I'd rather have them than most 3rd parties.

I support Isaac purely for my JRPG loving sister.
Honestly, the guy is pretty much the antithesis of what I usually want as Isaac is, quite frankly;

1. Not really a Nintendo All Star (I can name at least 20 others that are far bigger)
2. From a niche/dead Nintendo franchise with no obvious revival
3. From a JRPG which is my least favourite video game genre
4. Design wise Isaac is a rather stock JRPG protagonist at a glance.

I do like his gigantic psynergy hands, but that's about it on a personal level. I'm aware he has a load of other Venus Adept abilities but his inclusion would only get me excited for my sister's sake.

On a similar note, I'd also be fine with Andy from Advance Wars despite ticking a few of the above boxes. I feel both Wars and Golden Sun are series that aren't so super mega obscure that they should be completely forgotten about in Smash, but I'm teetering on the edge of thinking they should get playable roles.

Lastly Paper Mario is one of the only Mario characters left I don't really love or really dislike but his inclusion would make a ton of fans happy and he is easily the best Mario RPG character they could include in Smash...until I work out how Fawful could work anyway.

I'm still really questionable behind Isaac's support. But good for them I guess. I'm completely neutral to Banjo, Geno. I consider them the lucky characters. Bandana Dee.

I'm also not interested in Dixie Kong but I can understand why she's considered the last Nintendo all star.
