Has anyone found out from all of the recent media coverage of Smash Wii U if when transferring characters will it:
A. Unlock that character if they haven't been unlocked in the Wii U version?
B. If we haven't unlocked a custom move in the Wii U version but transfer a character from the 3DS that has it, will it still transfer with that character?
C. Same question as B, but referring to the Mii outfits and headgear.

You can't unlock characters with transfers, nor can you unlock moves or equipment.

You're only transferring your custom character build, so if you want to make builds on the Wii U version, you need to unlock everything first.

Is this something someone confirmed or a guess?

The part where characters transferred over don't unlock equipment and cannot be changed is confirmed. Whatever equipment and moves you have set on them are what they have permanently.

I'm not asking if the moves unlock, just if they transfer over with that character.

He said the miis will still have they're costumes when transfered

And what ever the set is it will transfer unlocked or not including equipment.
They didn't mention anything about the 3DS set transferring over even if it isn't unlocked in the Wii U game in the direct.
