What character are you gonna main and why ?

I'll start,

Main: King Dedede and Meta Knight

Why: I luv a good heavywheight.King Dedede Looks like a tough Char to master,and yet fun to play.Meta knight Really fits my style of relentless play. He also has sick recovery and really good dair.All in all these characters best fit my split style of play.Laid back,Powerful,And Swift and Agressive.

Main: Samus/Zamus
Why: 2 awesome characters for the price of 1

 

[Kio Iranez]

Mains: Snake, Sonic, and/or Ganon (if he's in)
Reasons: The concept of having someone not so cartoony makes me wonder how Snake's moves will work. Sonic has been one of my fave video game characters since Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis. Lastly, I already main Ganon, so if he's in there, I'll definitely be stomping away. ^_^

Mains: Link, Bowser, Pokémon Trainer
Reasons: I already use Link and Bowser all the time now, and Ivysaur looks like he'll have lots of fun long range action.

I don't know how you guys can come out with mains without even playing them yet. But, I suppose a prediction wouldn't hurt.

Mains: Snake, Sonic, and Diddy.
Reasons: They look like they can stack up some deadly combos, and we all love combos. I like lightweighted fast characters.

But, why not put my two cents in here, also: After watching E for All videos, I'm pretty excited to play with Metaknight, Link, and Sonic. I doubt I'll end up maining them, though.

Reasons: ive always been really good with mario so i gotta keep using him, sonic because he seems like one of those characters that are are hard to use, but once you master him you pwn everyone, and PT because i love the three pokemon (espeically charizard), 3 characters in one, a lightweight, midweight, and heavywieght!...awesome

Mains: Sonic, King Dedede, DK, Meta Knight, Mario, Link, Pit, Samus, Snake (going to try him first though), Pikachu, Pokémon Trainer, Jigglypuff, and C. Falcon. (Choices may change dependent on how good they are and if there are better characters revealed by then).

Why: Sonic because of his speed and comboing potential, Dedede because I've wanted a heavyweight that I would have a good chance with. And everyone else because I either used them before and liked their playing style or because I'm going to try and use them once or twice and see if they're good.

I think im gonna continue maining Link, but give up on Pikachu
and hopefully i'll be able to main Snake

Mario and Sonic would be my choices. I might try to master another character along the way.

Why - 'Cause it's Solid f*****' Snake. Need I say more?

2nd Main - Lucas
Why - I love all the MOTHER games and Lucas has a nice hairdoo.

Main: Metaknight, Sheik
Why: I play as Sheik in melee so ive already got experience there. And Metaknight i my fav char from kirby and based on the e for all videos he looks like he'd fit my playstyle

Meta Knight: Definitely

Mario: Most likely, VERY high chance

Sonic: Ill definitely learn to use him, though probably not master him, I need to be well rounded and play a super fast character

Pit: Hes just cool, I gotta get good at him

Ike: Gotta get used to a slow guy too so I pick Ike cuz hes got a sword


In general though I guess I could split all the characters into 5 major groups


MAIN/MASTER: Meta Knight, Mario

USE FREQUENTLY: Sonic, Pit, Ike

USE OCCASIONALLY: Link, Pikachu, Snake, Kirby, Dedede, Bowser, PT, Wario, DK, Diddy, Samus, Lucas, Fox, Yoshi

NEVER: Peach, Ice Climbers, Zelda

Main: Yoshi & Bowser
Why: Both reptiles.. lol actually I always have played as Yoshi.. and Bowser is my favorite Nintendo character.

Well I Love Strong ,slow power characters. But I have Knack for playing swift and agressive types. So heres my current list assuming I dont add anything.

Mastered: King Dedede-My power type.
MetaKnight- My speed type.

Semi-Mastered: Ike- good swordsman,also powerful.
Pit- Newcomer and by looks of it would fit my playing style.

Occasional Play: Wario,Snake , Samus.

Reasoning:

King Dedede is a must Because I love the Kirby games and Heavyweight characters. He has some familiar looking moves also. Metaknight because i used to play all areial charcters until I picked up Donkey in Melee. Thats about it.

Hmm, I guess it'll be fun to speculate on your main although you've never played the character.

Mastered: Mario and Sonic, of course.

Mains: PT, Pikachu, Ike.

Why?

Well, Mario has always been one of my favorite smashers. With the imminent removal of the good Doctor, I'll have to use regular old Mario.

Sonic has been one of my favorite characters for a long time. Sadly, his own games have gone to sh-t, so him being in Brawl is awesome.

PT was one of my most wanted newcomers, and alas, he was added to the roster. I can't wait to get my hands on him. I was disappointed that he was not in the demo at EFA.

I've never been able to master Pikachu, but he has always been a great character. I look forward to see what's new about him.

Ike fills my void in terms of slow and powerful. I never seemed to be able to use these characters effectively, but somehow I think I'll be able to do it with him.
