Character Pictures editing? (CSP files)

I found using Project M to be the most efficient way to mod Brawl, in terms of Music, Textures etc. However, with some textures I get CSP files which have the character busts, which I assume can be used to replace the character bust in the game (i.e. the picture of said character). I haven't found a way to use them or where to put them. So... Can someone help me put these into the game?

There are three places you'll have to put the images you have:

1. To replace character selection screen images, open common5.pac (private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\system) with BrawlBox. Unfold the sc_selcharacter_en tab, then unfold char_bust_tex_lz77. This contains a bunch of MiscData[#] tabs. You'll need to find the one associated with the character you're replacing files for (see list at bottom of post). The Textures folder inside will contain the CSP images. Replace the one(s) that correspond to the outfit you're replacing.

2. To replace the icon for a character that appears on the battle results screen, you'll need to have the correct MenSelchrFaceB#.brres file from Brawl itself. If you have the ISO you should be able to get it easily. The file should be placed in private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\menu\common\char_bust_tex on your P:M directory. You can determine the correct one without opening each file by looking at the number at the end. The first two numbers correspond to the character's ID number (see list below). The third number is always a 0. Open the file in BrawlBox and replace the image that corresponds to your character's color costume.

3. To replace the icon that is used during a match with the damage counter, you will (again) need a file from Brawl: InfFace#. You should put the file in private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\info\portrite. The InfFace# you want will have the first two numbers correspond to your character's ID and the third number correspond to the character's costume number (0 = default, 1 = red, 2 = green, 3 = blue, 4+5 are non-team costumes). Open the file in BrawlBox and replace the single image in it with the one you want.
