Changing to Zamus w/o the FS

So the dojo confirmed a quick ^v^ on the dpad will change you to Zamus if you start the match as Samus. Do you think this is useful?

how bad *** would it be to start the match as Zero Suit, use the armor pieces as a weapon, then switch into regular Samus.

How Bad### in general is it if you could just switch at your own whim... Samus might turn out to be a Zelda/Sheik combo... wonder how long it takes to switch if you even can.

still think it'd be cool for it to go both ways, but this also means that if you play with FS on then you can just go back and forth so long as you get it. if not this trick allows you to change if you forget or perhaps just do so during classic or something if you prefer Zamus over samus

It doesn't go both ways, as far as I know. However, if you get a final smash orb as Samus, switching to ZSS through taunts will let you keep the final smash so if you wanted to switch to ZSS for a little bit before switching back to Samus, you can do it at the expensive of Samus's massive charge shot.

Also, maybe I just suck at it, but doing the ^v^ movement is hard to do because of how fast it needs to be done. I end up hitting the left or right by pressing the whole dpad down.

back on topic I think its going to be too difficult to change between the forms super fast, its more of something to do when they die or if they are knocked back really really far

Dojo says you start the match as ZSS if you hold shield button before it starts. THen ^V^ to turn back into Samus.

At least, I think that's how I read it lol

i tried it

u can't turn back to samus if ur zamus but if ur samus u can turn into zamus

btw samus > zamus

zamus seriously can't kill and she can't get back to the edge easily
