Changing the Colour of Falco's Laser/Firebird/Reflector?

I know you can do it by hexing, and if someone has a tutorial of how to do it by hexing, I would love it if you could share it with me. (:

And is there any other way of achieving this so it works online?

Whether you're online or offline has no effect on the textures you apply to your game. When online only you will see the textures you apply.

I don't know how but I could likely do it if someone gave me an offset.
