Hey guys. I tried using Wiiscrubber to open up my files, and replace my psa/pca files to get new models. It seems when I do this nothing happens at all. Like, nothing gets replaced. I don't even noticed replacing happening in Wiiscrubber but it says it's being loaded.

I haven't seen a whole lot of videos on how to do this. Any tips?

If you're using an iso of PM you have to remake the iso with the modded files in the projectm folder. That's why if you're testing mods I recommend virtual SD card.

So I have to have the original Brawl ISO before changed to Project M to use Wii scrubber?

I DL'ed a precompiled ISO off the Piratebay (I own the game so no pirating, no worries) and it just seems to not work. I just DL'd a regular Brawl ISO and it worked, but I want to play Project M with models.

Use your brawl iso and follow the guide in my siggy. Instead of putting the default homebrew projectm folder, include your modded files and you can make a custom project m iso. Forget the scrubber.

I actually just used your guide to make a Project M ISO. So when you mean swap out files, you mean go into the homebrew folder > Projectm > pf > then whatever character you want, and you can just put the textures in there and it'll automatically comprise that into the game with said textures there?

Yes but once you build the iso you'd have to make a new one if you wanted to add more.

Okay, I experimented with that earlier and it seemed it let me add them to the Project M iso afterwards, but I only tried one model. I'm not completely sure so I'll have to play with it I suppose.

Well maybe if you're injecting the textures in but just putting costumes into the projectm folder of the builder folder isn't going to do anything.

Well yeah I mean after making the custom ISO, injecting via wiiscrubber seems to work.
