Changing announcer in PM?

I want to add this announcer mod to my PM build, but I don't know where to get started. The instructions weren't any help either. It's the second one by the way.

You get a sawnd file Yea? Something like 232.sawnd? (I can't remember announcer number off the top of my head)

Stick it in your pf/sfx folder

Nah I got them in this weird unknown type. Download it and see. It's a small file.

At work, so not gonna dl it. What do you mean 'unknown'?

As in your pc doesn't know what to do with it when you click it? Or does it say' 'filename.???'

Each file says somethig like this [DACC] or some sort of variation. For file type it says file.
