chaingrab problems

Alright, so I either suck or it can't be done to Sonic. Everytime I tried to chaingrab him, he could DI so far away that I couldnt grab him again. Peach could just roll out of it (but thats not a problem since I can just run or turn around to where she rolled).

So help with Sonic?

And also, is it true the chaingrab only works to 80%?

The standard Chaingrab works independent of percent. Also, DI has no effect on the standard chaingrab.

Yeah DI doesnt affect Sonic, theres no limit to the percent and sonic can be chaingrabbed so your probably just messing up..

Im pretty sure I was doing it perfectly. I had been doing it all day with no problems. I have no ****ing clue.
