I have a friend who plays Sheik and he keeps chain grabbing me from 0 to over 35%.
I've tried every DI (down and away, up and away, up) but I can't seem to escape unless he reads my DI wrong. He doesn't tech chase me since I never actually touch the ground.
Is there a way to escape? If it isn't, how come pros dont seem to do this in Marth vs Sheik matchups?

At low percents, If you DI away you give her the chaingrab, If you behind you give her the tipper upsmash (yikes), if you DI to a platform, you force a tech chase. At high percents, DI away turns into a fair while DI up gives her a upair both of which can kill you. So in every case, you're in a losing situation, but if you DI to a platform you make her have to work for her followups.

You don't, simply put. Any option you choose is easy for Sheik to react to, and a tipper up smash especially sucks cause you've above her, and Marth above anyone isn't very good.

Well, you can attempt to call out on their Dthrow -> Usmash reaction and DI the Usmash afterwards into a position which is harder for Sheik to manage. Simply letting yourself get CG'd to the ledge I think is worse than trying to mess with platform play. In some situations you can even slide off platforms with no lag from the dthrow :D I am just not sure what the spacing is for it though.
