Typing-
Offensively- Celebi has a varitey of moves that can be both physical and special none of the physical attacks get stab but the special ones do. Its Grass /Psychic Type combo makes it a special sweeper mostly, U-Turn is Celebi's best Physical Attack thus far, it can utalize its ability AND take care of some of its Weaknesses too. Aerial Ace takes care of the Physical Celebi's main weakness... HERACROSS!!! As for the special Celebi, it attacks can be spread out a bit, cover most of its weaknesses and get some stab too,
BTW- In the episode of the anime Pokemon, Celebi was able to bring upon large Thorn-like plants that looked like Frenzy Plant, but why can't Celebi learn it? Or at least Seed Flare?
Defensivly- Celebi has a variety of moves than can help it support the team and defend itself.Celebi has a total of 3 reists and 7 weaknesses and thus, is frowned upon by many. Recover can help Celebi out when its HP gets low.

Okay, Celebi can spread every moveset is has to its Fullest, why? Because Celebi has Swords Dance and Callm Mind, Celebi can be physical and special with those moves.

Celebi also has a good oppourtunity with being defensive too, with a 404 Max HP stat, she/he/it can be a good wall and/or supporter.

This Celebi has some good uses to the team it's on by T-Waving, then raising its stats to become more durable and more able to Baton Pass to the next poke.
Celebi can be random on any team which is what makes it so intresting to use because you never know what to expect from it in battle.
