Cbliss Problems & Adding Costumes

I don't understand how to use Cbliss. I opened my RSBE01.gct and expanded the character slots to 10, and hit update GCT. When I put my SD card in my Wii then try to load it, my Wii just boots me back to the Wii menu. My disc is in the Wii, which confuses me, but I just can't figure this out. The tutorial the mewtwo2000 made did not help me. Do I have to add costumes before I can load Project M again? Because I did not see a new slot for a CSP in the sc_selcharacter file, so I assumed I couldn't do anything yet. Can anybody help me with this??

Are you using a vanilla PM codeset (RSBE01.gct)? If so, all you should have to do is open it, check the "Expanded characters" box and click on "Add to GCT". It'll take a while to load and when it's done you'll be able to change the number of costumes at your will.

As far as I know, you don't have to click "Update GCT" to make it work. At least I never do it and it works :p As for the CSPs, you'd have to add them manually in sc_selcharacter.pac and in the MenSelchrFaceBXXX of each character with new costumes. Also, I think you also need to make BPs for the new costumes in order to prevent crashes. I'm pretty sure you can just skip stock icons though (the game loads the last icon for all the new costumes, but you can still make a new icon if you like).

How will this method work with the Pig Ganon.gct?

Sam'sAwakening Sam'sAwakening one more problem could be that you ran into a "too many codes error". Edit your gameconfig.txt and change codeliststart to 8056800

I'm trying to add a costume to Ike, and I'm a bit confused. When I add the CSP, do I have to rename the icon? It is after MenSelchrFaceB.340, so would I have to rename the new CSP the same thing but with .341? What is confusing me is that the next character, ROB, already has MenSelchrFaceB.341 , so what do I do? ( Panudroid Panudroid if you are still there please answer)

Well, if the next character already has the number, I don't think you can do anything right now, apart from some coding magic, like what was done with the pig ganon mod
