What if the Cave of the Past/Devil's Machine was a stage?
Here is how I think it would work.
You would fight on a bunch of platforms. In the background is the Devil's Machine. For the first part of the battle the machine's eye transforms into a face. It would be any of the 4 fighters in the stage.
Example: If it turns into Mario, it will rain down fireballs onto the stage.
2): If it turns into Link, bombs will drop onto the stage where you can grab and use.
3): It it turns into Kirby: A harsh wind would blow.
Then once the music shifts over to hardcore rock, the screen flashes white and the background changes to Giygas. From time to time he'll attack with an attack with "You cannot grasp the true power of" and you'll take damage but he'll attack a random platform.
So what do you think? Not a bad idea huh?
