Hi all, hope you're all well.
I'll cut to the chase, I'm doing the 3rd year of my BSc Psychology course and I have to do an active research project.
The area I chose to do it within is care-giving for relatives who have suffered from strokes. I chose this area because of it's personal meaning. My grandfather had a stroke in January 2009, and from personal experience, care-giving is a very difficult task with many implications.
Often with issues like strokes, we think of the patient and do not consider the care-giver. What I'm doing is an interview where I try and gain an understanding of the issues that come up when an individual provides care for a relative who has suffered from a stroke. This hopefully will provide a greater insight into the mental, emotional and physical implications that care-giving has on the care-giver.
If you feel this applies to you, I'd like to message you the questions and if possible for you to answer them as detailed as possible. It would be a great help and the findings of the study, if substantial, can have implications on a wider sense.
If you have any questions, please ask. If you do not wish to post here, feel free to PM me.
Thanks in advance,
N9NE.
