Why are seat belts required for classic cars? It'd probably be safer to drive our old '66 MGB if he and my grandpa didn't have to install post-market 2-point seat belts in the 80's, since there are no airbags, the steering wheel is made out of hard rubber and metal, and the dashboard padding isn't as useful as it used to be since it's about as old as my dad.
