Hello all, I am doing some research online on ordering a capturing device that would enable me to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl and capture at the same time. I've heard a lot of complaints about lag from capture cards. Any recommendations? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Also I'm looking at getting this particular model on Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815100112

Generally what is done is to record your matches to a VCR cassette (or DVR if you've got one) and then play back the footage into a recording device. That way lag isn't an issue. You're going to get some kind of lag no matter what device you're using if you try to play it off of the computer monitor.

What I use is basically the same thing that you listed. Just an external Composite to USB converter. You can get some software (usually comes w/ the device too) to do the recording and stuff for you.
