capture device help

so i have an adaptec tv tuner / dual video recorder (avc-3610) and recently tried to see if i could use it to record some melee matches with using my wii.

problem is i don't know if it's possible with it, and if it is what software do i need? are there any programs out there anyone could have any recommendations on?

VirtualDub is a good program for capturing video from a capture card
If your TV tuner/capture card has all it's need drivers and etc. installed, you can just select it as an input source in VirtualDub's capture mode
