Captain Falcon Needs to be...

Faster.

What made me mad in the other games, is that Captain Falcon was not as fast as fox and falco. Being the only RACER in the game, I feel Falcon should be THE fastest character. I understand that a jet/spaceship is probably faster than Falcon's car, but we have games with Fox & co. out of their spaceships, and they definitely aren't as fast as they were in Melee.

That's what I think anyway.

Fox will either be slower or weaker. All we know so far is he has a slower falling speed so that's already hurting his combo/shine potential. But I can ensure you they will brutalize Fox much like they did to Kirby, Ness and Pikachu going to Melee from N64. Fire Fox is now faster but I think all recoveries have been improved so it's not really an advantage.

Captain Falcon can move faster than anyone, but when attacking is where he slows. Don't worry though, he makes up for it in power. Falcon's really good!

Even if lowered gravity was present, you need to compare his falling speed to every other character on that unless the gravity has a fixes everyone's fall speed to an equal amount instead of proportionately decreasing it by a set value, which I doubt.

and yeah, Sonic should be the fastest character if he gets in; it just makes sense that way. Falcon will be second fastest though, thats a given.

Falcon owns everyone and there Moms already, so he doesn't need a speed boost...

What if Sakurai takes off Falcon's Mid Air Knee of Ownage? I mean c'mon, it could happen. Jus look what he did to Mario's moveset. Uuuuuu if he does, Sakurai truly should be put in an iron maiden, and that death trap should be put in a vat of acid, and that vat of acid should be put in an active volcano.

He can do other things though. Sonic can Spin Dash all over the competition. Plus, look at Sonic Battle if you're not aware of his fighting potential.

I think they'll just moderate his speed, as they seem to be slowing down the fast characters just a bit and keeping the slow characters at the same rate since speed is out of control in Melee. Captain Falcon hasn't really changed much since SSB64, and this is an important part of his character and Sakurai knows this. His advantage will always be to combo his foe across the stage and then finish it with a knee/stomp/explosion. Or it just wouldn't be Falcon. Though I would mind if they changed the homoerotic Falcon Dive.
