Can't read files from expansion drive

Hey guys, I've been having trouble with getting Windows Media Player to recognize certain video files from an expansion drive. Now, you might say "WMP sucks! Get a better player!", but I assure you I've tried other players.

So actually, I think the problem is the "Cannot read from source file or disk" thing. It said just that when I was trying to copy them to the actual computer to see if they would work from there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if I left an important detail or two out, just tell me.
