Can't Open Doors in Subspace Emissary

Hey guys,

First post and I'm a big fan of SSB.

This must be as stupid question but I was playing Subspace emissary and got through the first 3 stages then saved my game. When I restarted I was at the Jungle stage and got to the door at the end but couldn't open it. Now I can't open doors at earlier levels either. Even when I start a new game, I can't even open the first door in the Sky level. What am I doing wrong?!?! please help. thanks!

it pissed me off for a while too, just get in the middle of the door and press up. i kept accidentally jumping for a while, but eventually got it down.

hahaha, wow. I don't know why I all of a sudden couldn't do this....but you're right. Thanks!

no problem, but it got really annoying in a few stages where you need to get through a door quickly...
