Can't log in on SmashWiki

I read the help section, and I should have been able to according to it, I can't log in

Have you ever logged on to SmashWiki before? We just upgraded the software running it, so it's possible the login doesn't work entirely correctly. I've been able to use it, but the process is a bit different for the first login.

I've had the same problem =/ i checked all the requirements for username too. everythings fine with that. Also when i try and get my password emailed to me it says my name doesnt exist. and yes i typed it with a capital.(and miniscule)
