Can't hit fox with instant u-air

pls help what am I doing wrong? I'm standing around grab range but I can't seem to hit him

mess around with how you do it. the hardest way is probably going from x or y to c stick, unless you claw grip. i use control stick jump to c stick, you can also use a, and i've seen a lot of people talk about using z. experiment, find whats comfortable. know that once you find your style, keep in mind you'll want to eventually be able to do it out of dash, as well as using different aerials. other than that, its just learning timing

fox is feasible, and you can even pull it off on a standing ness. I personally use claw, since claw is just so useful for pretty much all aerials as well as optimal DI/ASDI.
