Can't find tournaments

I cannot find any tournaments in my area: Ottawa, Ontario. Even when looking through listings of tourneys I can't find any. If you people can help me with this issue let me know. I will update this thread in case anything important changes.

Look on social media (Ex: Twitter, Facebook). Smashboards Event page only has what people hosting post, and some of them use like a facebook page instead where they can keep people easily updated. So just browse the web and maybe search for tournaments in a different city you may be close to as well.
