Can't beat my friend in fox dittos! help pls?

So there's this player who's pretty good that goes to this same school event that I usually go to and I can't beat him! He usually plays as blue Marth but this time he creamed me in fox dittos!!! Luckily! I recorded a video of a MM that I got beat in. I need some advice so I can win next time we play!!! Thx bye

Tai is more than just pretty good. Just watch the video and look at what he's doing to you, and why he's hitting you. He's just straight downloading you and you just need to mix up your game more basically. You're not bad at all but Tai is capable of playing well against the top. It seems like what he has on you is more mind games and reads, which is something that pretty much comes with experience.

He's reading you like an open book. You need to work on the following:

Grabs/Not getting grabbed - This is ripping you apart. He's grabbing you constantly then comboing you for eternity. From the first 2 matches I watched, you didn't grab once and if you did you didn't make much of it.

You need to mix up the above 3 things as far as which way you're going. Practice not getting hit. Even if you're playing against someone, worry about what you need to learn versus trying to win the match. That will come. Matches don't count till it's a tournament.
