Eat My Shield 2! The Sequel! Electric Boogaloo! EMS 2 is a Smash Wii U online tournament that will be powered by Anther's Ladder! This tournament will take place on August 4, 2015, starting at 11:30 am CST. All tournament participants must check into the Challonge page 1 hour before the tournament starts. This tournament will be single elimination, rather than double elimination to speed up the bracket. To sign up for this tournament, you MUST have an Anther's Ladder account, it will be needed to play against your opponent and to talk in the EMS chat, which I have linked at the top of the thread. When signing up on the Challonge page, please sign up under your Anther's Ladder name, or include it in your bracket name to avoid confusion. The tournament bracket has a participant cap of 64. If you enter after this cap is reached, you will be DELETED FROM BRACKET. This tournament will follow this ruleset:

Although Anther's Ladder does use it's own ruleset, this tournament will be using the rule set that follows.

Gentlemen's Clause applies (any stage can be chosen for a game as long as both players agree.)
Dave's Stupid Rule applies (a stage that a player has most recently won on cannot be counter picked by the same player.)

To play your match, find your opponent in bracket and challenge them to either a Bo3 or Bo5 match (depending on your position in bracket). Report your results of who won the match after your set is over.
