Cancel-landing-with-attack: is it still there?

I remember in the pre-release that people were talking about a new kind of technique where after you land you can cancel your landing animation with an attack.

I don't have the game yet, so is it still there, or has it been removed? Also, if it's still there, what do we call this technique?

I remember a thread talking about that too. We were lied to. Obviously someone had no idea what they were talking about..

Or... it was really there but it sure as hell aint there no more

At the moment, yes. It's still in the game.

No; I remember that people were talking about a thing that when you land, you could interrupt the landing animation with any attack.

Then again, that kind of technique is TOO versatile for casual-loving Sakurai, so he removed it.
