Can you use 3DS demo codes on Wii U's eShop?

I'm trying to get a demo code for Smash Bros. on twitter but my friend is borrowing my 3DS as he's spending the night at his cousin's house so I was wondering if it's possible to enter the download code on the Wii U's eshop, then download the demo on my 3DS once I get it back. Thanks :D
