This question has probably been answered elsewhere by this point, so I'm sorry for being redundant.

Anyway, since some gamers got the game earlier I thought it was a good time to get either the sweet confirmation or bitter denial.

I've been wondering about this as well but every answer I've received or read so far are rather cryptic. I just want to know now so I can quietly accept that I have to really feel it.

I saw someone streaming the english version of the game, and a viewer asked about this. The streamer wasn't able to find an option to change voice language.

Thank you guys. That's disappointing, but at least now I know for sure.

I'd guess the only languages you can set the game to are the ones available in your console.

So for America, that's English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Doesn't matter to me. At least we'll be able to understand them (unless you actually know Japanese).

I prefer English Dubs over Subs.
Japanese minor in college, I prefer the chance to practice my Japanese. Plus, as a general rule, I always thought the original language (whatever that happens to be for a media) sounded most correct.

But I'm really feeling the English voice actors.
I might warm up to Shulk just because of how hammy he sounds, but after playing through Awakening in Japanese, it's going to sound really weird hearing "myself" not speaking in Japanese.

Isn't portuguese for Europe only?

I know, I live in Brazil xD
But is portuguese available as a language in na version?
Well that was awkward. =P

But yeah, NA version's the same in the whole continent, setting your system to Portuguese should set the game to Portuguese too.

EDIT: Huh, looks like it doesn't work with the demo.

That's weird, it does work when setting it to Spanish, but not Portuguese.

EDIT 2: Even French works, that's just weird. Every language option in a NA system works except for portuguese.

I find it odd that they credit the Japanese voice actors in the US version of the game when they aren't using most of their voices.

Would be great if they'd add a toggle with a patch or something.

Sucks, was really hoping there would be a voice option for this game but oh well, they may release the voice option somehow later.

I don't want to be hopeful, but hopefully they'll make some update to add the option, similar to how Conquest Mode was added not too long after release.

They should go ahead and add the item frequency setting too, GameXplain on youtube said it wasn't there and it disappoints me...

Simple question, simple lock. Locking as such.

It is pretty disappointing, if they don't for this version, I have low hopes for it being added in the future/for the Wii U version.
