Can you Spike with his Forward B?

Title says it all, can he spike with it? I jumped off the level to Dair someone, and I missed, so I used this and KO'd them at 60 damage. Whatchoo think?

To reiterate what others have said, the forward b is a meteor spike, meaning the opponent can cancel it by either double jumping if they haven't already or up b'ing while being spiked.

This really didn't deserve it's own thread... like Mathos said, the stickies would have helped..
