I'm definitely getting project M, but I was just wondering if I could revert if I needed to, like, if some friends came over and wanted to stick to the original.

Some people really like the multi dodge from brawl.Just don't put your SD card in and play vBrawl, but...why would you want to?
Even my non-competitive friends prefer PM because of the character balance and more entertaining speed.

I know for a fact that anyone who can't wavedash is almost assured to like Brawl's airdodge better than Melee's air dodge.

Besides, even casual players would probably find stuff like Roy and Mewtwo, or the return of 64 stages, or Pokemon not being tied down to PT's ridiculous stamina mechanic interesting.
