Has anyone tested to see if you can momentum cancel in sm4sh with skull bash?

I've never heard of that.Isn't the games' engine closer to Brawl's? If so, then Skull Bash momentum cancelling could still work. I'm not sure if you're talking about momentum cancelling the move and then use Thunder right after without the bolt hitting Pikachu.
Interesting, I hope it's back because it was helpful to Pika.I've watched a lot of the smash4 matches, and have seen no evidence that "momentum-cancelling" exists in this game (at least in the early builds we've seen so far).
And I'm always looking for it, because I was involved in discovering and popularizing momentum-cancelling in Brawl. It's something I just always look for.
I'm not really sure what's up with smash4 in this respect. I don't think I've seen characters really fly very far across the stage before getting KO'd, and I'm also not attuned to the timing of hitstun/knockback. But I definitely haven't seen any weird momentum-shifts in the air.
Here's the video.I've never heard of that.
That's cool although you can do that without skull bash. Here's the video.
As you can see, Meta Knight did a F-Smash to Pikachu. It uses Skull Bash to get the momentum, but it can attack out of it. In this case, it uses Thunder without the bolt hitting it. It functions like a wall of some sorts.
I thought you could only do that with Skull Bash. I was wrong then, my mistake. That's cool although you can do that without skull bash.
