Smash 3DS Can you choose between both pads on 3ds version?

That is a good question. I looked at the layout of the 3DS control screen, and it didn't mention it but I assume you can

We have to wait for the game to be released to know that. In the demo you could only play with the circle pad iirc. I am hoping custom controls are available.

During Best Buy/E3, the Circle Pad was movement and the D-Pad was for Taunts.
That being said, probably not. :<

Ahh yes I forgot about taunts. That probably eliminates that option then.
