Can we settle this?(Lloyd Irving)

I know that Pac Man is probably the smarter, more iconic, money printing, obvious choice.. but I really don't want him in, simple as that. I feel he belongs more in Kart and Mario Party 3rd Party wise. We all know who I want in, so with that said, I want to know everyones thoughts no matter how extremely harsh, blindly fanboyish, or 100% rational of both sides will be.

Lloyd is certainly a more easy character to implement, and nore likely a character that it will be fun to play as. To make Pac-Man a character that is both fun and has a defined character direction will be a challenge.

Remember, popularity isn't everything. It was enough to get Sonic in the game despite having absolutely abysmal character design and implementation, but things will be different now. It is clear that character function will be increasingly more important with this installment; it has been said a number of times now. I would be genuinely impressed if Pac-Man could be made into a fun and interesting character (I severely doubt it). Personally I don't really care if either or neither make an appearance. i just want meaningful characters and good gameplay.
