i have a capture device hooked up to my computer with my wii hooked up to it. can anyone recommend a simple capture software so i can play brawl thru my pc moniter? the one that came with my capture device has a small lag on the video, and nero uses too many resources in full screen. i only have 1 tv in my apt, so when my gf is watching vh1 or whatever and i want to play some ssbb, i can just play here. i dont need it to be able to record, just a simple program to let me see whats being sent thru my capture device.

almost any program to play through ur capture card will lag, its near impossible to get a lagless experience. you will need a powerful computer either way. iv used windows media encoder to play b4, though it doesnt run at 60fps. overall, its just not recommended lol. have ur gf watch vh1 on ur comp and u use the tv lol. lag doesnt apply to television programming
nero has no lag really.. its just that after a while the pc starts to slow down. so its not the program that is causing the lag. i wish my gf would watch tv on the computer, but that aint happenin! no remote, has to sit at a desk etc. i'll try n free up some memory and hopefully nero will work.
