can project M be turned on/off

i don't have project M and i want to know if it can be turned on and off easily without wiping the data on either of them. because i have many records/pictures/stages/ETC. and also I want to play both PM and brawl

If you run the vanilla hackless method of launching the game, you'll have to sacrifice your custom stages.
If you run the homebrew version of the game, there's nothig you need to delete to run the game.

Switching between brawl and P:M is as simple as not having the sd card in the wii.

yeah if you try to play brawl while the pm sd card is in the game will eventually crash
