Can NA people purchase a standalone GC adapter from a PAL region . . . and have it shipped to them?

I don't have the game yet, 29th for we Australians. But I was thinking about the NA folk out there. A lot of them are un happy at how disgusting bad gamestop (as usual) handled the situation. And at the shortage of them in NA. So I got thinking, maybe there is a way for the NA people to order one from a PAL region and have it shipped to them. That would work as the adapters are not region locked. The game is region locked though.

I am not sure if you can buy a standalone adapter from a PAL region and have it shipped to NA. If you could, that would be very nice for the as there does not seem to be that much of a shortage (at least here in Australia) of the adapters. The game + adapter is still able to be pre-ordered.

I am not sure if this is even possible, but it's something to think about.
And if anyone from Europe or Australia wants the adapter and game bundle and has not pre-ordered it, better pre-order it ASAP, like right now. it could sell out in the next few days, who knows.

Are they even out for the PAL region yet? Since you have another week till release, have the adapters and Amiibos been released yet?
I think it's too soon to ask since there's still a few days shipping to account for. (Or at least I think it is. I dunno I've never imported anything before...)

No. 28th/29th. We still have about 5 days to wait. But having it shipped to you, sent out on the 29th would be better than waiting till whenever and if NA gets another shipment from china. (everything is made in china these days).

The adapters don't come to us in Japan until the 6th but I am almost positive they are going to sell out on day 1. That's how it generally is with anticipated items.

I can most certainly guarantee the same will happen to the JP ones. I had mine reserved a while ago.

Wow the 6th still? That's harsh. I really feel for you. Hope you can survive till then. And glad you have yours pre-ordered.

And to comment on that link you shared, I think that is total cancer what they are doing. Immoral and praying on people who missed out just for a profit. Something I am totally against. But hey it's life, and ebay does nothing to prevent this kind of thing so we just have to live with it.

In NA yes demand for it outstripping the supply is the issue. And add in people selling some just for profit. Adapters that could have went to people who actually want to use them legit. So it's a real mess sadly. This is not an issue yet in the PAL regions thankfully.
