Can I use a 4GB SD card with things on it and put PM on it?

I have a 4GB SD card with some things on it. But i was wondering if you have to have a clean SD card and if it can be 4GB. I've heard it has to be 2GB, but some people have said that it works with a bigger amount like a 4GB.

If you're planning on playing with a hacked wii or wish to use the "homebrew" package, then the SD card can be any size (up to 32gigs I believe). Otherwise, if your wii is not hacked, then the SD card has to be 2 or below (preferably at least 1gig).

And yes, you can have other files on the card.
