Can I replace Castle Siege with a .rel file?

This feels like a stupid question, but I've been having a lot of problems with this and I can't seem to find a solution no matter how much I search. All I want to do is swap Castle Siege for the Castlevania stage on this page:

I used a 75m to Castle Siege .rel (apparently, the stage is 75m based. I tried FD and LM before I looked it up), and the stage keeps freezing when I select it. I replaced only the STGEMBLEM.pac and had the same problem, and it still froze when I replace the numbered .pac files too. I've never had this sort of problem with a stage before, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong with it. I'm using the newest version of Brawl- with smashstack if that's important.

EDIT: My GCT also has a code to replace Hanenbow with Online Training Stage if that's important.

EDIT2: I also tried swapping it for the SSE wheel cavern stage using a FD .rel and had the same problem.

The answer to this question is no, as far as I know :/
What I do is to replace Castle Siege with one of the STGCUSTOM## stages (using Online Training Stage would also work), and then put something over that stage instead.

Hi, I'm in the exact same situation (half a year later), and I was wondering how exactly you replace an existing stage with a STGCUSTOM stage. Also, what, if any, expansion slot patch do use to acquire said STGCUSTOM slots?
